We love this explanation from @erodger about what got her into fly fishing... if you have a minute, give it a read. ❤️ ・・・ October, 2016 was the first time I ever touched a fly rod. It wasn’t my Dad, a boyfriend, a social media post, or any one else that got me interested in trying it. The idea came to me as I was reminiscing about some of my happiest moments as a little girl. I thought about the hours that my 3 sisters and I would spend playing in a brook by my parents house. We would try and catch brook trout and then make houses for them in the water by building dams with rocks (which never seemed to work🤔🤷🏻♀️). The hours spent doing that completely captivated my mind and brought me so much joy. I loved being in nature, playing in the water, searching for fish, and figuring out ways to actually catch them. I believe we all need to spend more time reliving those moments that brought us so much joy as kids. After all, we are all still kids at heart💞 #uwotfsmiles
